The North Georgia Mountains Chapter is lead by Co-Managing Directors Taree Darby and Carol DenHartog.
Taree Darby
Taree Darby is a wife and mom of three lovely kids. She lives in the beautiful mountain community of Bent Tree and enjoys every moment there. Taree works full time as the Human Resources Director at Harmony Academy Learning Center, LLC.
She is a wine enthusiast and started her social media career with Engelheim Vineyards. She’s managed over ten local businesses’ social media platforms through Sharp Top Social Media to date. She is very passionate about small business in her community, so she also created a group for businesses in her local area to post on freely called Sharp Top Social — Pickens County’s Small Business Community.
Another thing that’s very important to Taree is the health of her family and the environment. She makes all of her household supplies and offers them to the public through Clean Mountain Mama (all packaged in recycled containers—many from local businesses, helping reduce waste locally).

Carol DenHartog
Carol DenHartog is a wife and mom of two. She has a passion for empowering other women entrepreneurs and helping women find their path. Carol is a podcast producer and manager, as well as the Founder and CEO of shEO Podcasting, LLC.
In her spare time Carol enjoys being her daughter’s cheer coach and going to the gym.
